Hotel and Travel

If you’re planning to travel by air to 360|iDev, plan to land at SJC (San Jose International Airport). Ebay is about 2 miles (if that) from SJC, and the hotel is just downtown.

The official conference hotel is the San Jose Marriott, downtown. We’ve secured an awesome deal with the hotel!

Our conference attendee room block includes free internet in the guest room, as well as a shuttle between the Marriott and Ebay. It’ll run for an hour in the morning and an hour at night.

The room rate is an incredible $99/night.

The Marriott is also a stop on the VTA light rail, so getting

around between the conference center, and hotel is easy and only a few bucks ($7 for a day pass).

The hotel is about 4 miles from the conference center.

UPDATE:

So the Marriott registration page is… well confusing. Our room block is $99, but the nights surrounding it aren’t. When they display your cost, they show the avg/night rate, usually around $121/night.

If you click the the “Quality Guest Room” You’ll expand it for more details.

There you’ll see that the $99 room block is in effect. $121/night is an awesome price for a hotel in San Jose, we’ve got an awesome deal! I wish it wasn’t as confusing but alas it is.
