360iDev Call for Papers!

Posted on | May 22, 2009 | 1 Comment

The first draft of the sessions schedule will be up in a bit.  Until then, if you’re a developer itching to speak, the call for papers is officially open!

The submission format is the same as last time. Email your submission to info AT 360idev DOT com

Name
(How you want it to appear on the site)

Email
(So we know how to get a hold of ya)

Blog/twitter
(If you don’t have one yet, it’s time to get one)

Bio
(with pic, tasteful pic that is)

Title
(Short but to the point)

Description
(A paragraph to convey the session)

Track
(Choose one of the following:
Sights, Sounds and Interactions
Development Tips, Tricks and Stories
Business Side of iPhone Development
Hands-on Deep Dive)

Level
(100 – 300, with 100 being easy and 300 being advanced)

Don’t worry, we’re not gonna close the call until after WWDC, for all you cool kids working with features of [redacted]. My hope however IS to close it very soon afterward and get session selection underway.

So if you’re not working with anything that requires the release of [redacted] fire off a submission. If you are, you can still submit. We’re under the same NDA you are and the submission information is closed only to Tom and I.

For those of you who missed 360|iDev in San Jose earlier this year, you missed out, but you now have a chance to redeem yourself. You can pitch a topic, or simply register to attend. Registering early gets you the best price. We tier our pricing, the first 100 are only $360, after that the prices goes to the regular price of $480. IF you’re at WWDC, track Tom or I down and we’ll hook you up with a special, “I found Tom and John” price of $200.

This is gonna be a great event! 4 days of incredible speakers, incredible content, and of course awesome parties with Rock Band and Guitar Hero!

Register now before the price goes up!
